COMPLETE AND SIGN APPLICATION FORM AND SUBMIT TO THE TCFMA BOARD. If you have not applied to be a vendor before you will be required to set up a username and password for the ManageMyMarket site which is the software we use for vendors. All vendors must re-apply for each market season. No exceptions.

You will be notified of acceptance or rejection within 30 days. If rejected, stall fees will be returned. The application fee is non-refundable. The WPFM Board reserves the right to determine the suitability of any item offered for sale at this market. In some instances, final approval may not be given without seeing one or more samples.

Vendors must hold all appropriate certification to comply with health ordinances.

Each stallholder must provide a suitable display stand. Identifying signs should measure at least 24" x 36" and should be resistant to wind and moisture. Farmers are requested to list their farm name, nearest town, and whether produce is certified organic, organically grown or  pesticide-free. Vendors may sell by volume (bag, basket or piece), or by weight. If weighing scales are used, they must be certified accurate by the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture.


Canopy shades or market umbrellas are strongly recommended for the Summer Market. Securely attached weights or tie downs required for safety. 40 pounds of weight per leg is required. No stakes allowed within Memorial Park,

Stallholders should be ready to sell at Summer Market by 8:00 am and by 9:00 am for Winter Market. If unable to attend, those with reserved spaces must notify the market manager by 5 pm on the day before market, or be prepared to pay a fine of $25, and lose their space. Vendors should arrive no later than 7.30 am. If late in arriving, a space may be assigned at outer areas. Motor traffic through Summer Market will not be permitted between 8 am and 1 pm.

A dumpster is provided on site by the market, and will be collected at 1:30 pm. Any remaining refuse should be removed by the stall holder at the end of the market day. Clean paper or cardboard should be separated and left outside dumpster for recycling. Use only the dumpster assigned to the market! Vendor space must be cleaned up before leaving.

Summer Market - A public toilet with hand-washing facilities is on site.. Stallholders should bring their own drinking water.  Prepared food vendors should bring water for hand washing, as stipulated in local health ordinances. The Winter Market has indoor restrooms and a small kitchen area for water and washing up.

Fees and taxes are collected by 1:15 pm, and should be brought to manager's table. Receipt provided.

Merchant at the Market...for local business owners

To help local businesses grow, we offer a special one-day opportunity to advertise at the market. Business owners who offer products or services which would not normally qualify as market-appropriate, may participate in this rotating space, as available. When completing the form, choose "Merchant" vendor type. Please note your first and second choice of dates in 'comments' section.
Preference is given to Teller county businesses, but adjoining counties may apply. Confirmation of date will be emailed to you.

CO-OP VENDORS...for small local gardeners

Local gardeners are encouraged to participate by selling smaller lots of homegrown produce including herbs, fruits & vegetables, cut flowers, and growing plants. Market volunteers may help sell these items at a designated co-op table, by Market Managers' office. Growers are responsible for cleaning, packing, and pricing. Perishable produce can be presented in a cooler.

Small-space gardeners: If you are not sure of your harvest days but want to participate, provide details. We will do our best to find space for you on short notice. Try to call  or email the market managers by 7 pm, the day before market day.

HOURS:  Deliver produce to market manager's hut between 7.30and 8.00 am or as discussed with a Manager. Please bring a detailed list of the items you are bringing to sell, the price you want to sell them for, and any notes about being organically or pesticide-free (if applicable). Please place your name and cell/phone number at the top of the page. The market opens for business at 8:00 am and closes at 1:00 pm. Please collect sales proceeds and unsold produce by 12:30pm.

FEES: 10% of sales. Individual gardeners are responsible for payment of any taxes. Unless otherwise specified, the market manager may mark down produce that has not been sold by 11:00am.

COMMUNITY BENEFIT

Community organizations may apply for one free day at the market for fund raising or special projects. No political, religious or other solicitation is  permitted. Suitability for WPFM will be determined by the TCFMA Board.

If more days are requested, the space should include items for sale/donation, or interactive games or services.
Depending on market scheduling needs, space may or may not be available.

Normal fees will apply after free day, for approved applicants.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS 

Space at the market may be given to vendors 18 and under at a discounted rate, and with loaned equipment, as available - canopy, table, chair. If several apply, they may be asked to share space, or may provide their own equipment.

Advice is available from managers and some vendors regarding markets, promotion, signage, pricing, financial transactions, taxes and other related market tips.

Product offered must be appropriate to the market (related to agriculture, garden or food), and grown or made by the vendor. Complete application form online via website or request a mailed form via our Contact page.

YOUNG MERCHANTS
        
A new program to complement the Young Entrepreneurs. For items not usually market appropriate (eg crafts), but made and sold by under 18's. A discounted rate is provided for one day. Additional dates and rates must be discussed with market managers.
